Mid-Century Walnut Wardrobe by Alfred Cox

A beautifully made 1960s mid-century walnut double wardrobe by Alfred Cox, featuring tapered legs and richly figured walnut veneers. Pieces by Alfred Cox were often retailed through Heal’s, reflecting the maker’s reputation for high-quality British furniture.

The interior offers a full-length hanging section alongside a second hanging rail with an overhead shelf. The wardrobe can be dismantled for easier access if required. A matching smaller wardrobe is also available separately.

Condition Note –

Very good vintage condition with light age-related marks, consistent with age and use. Rich colour throughout with a clean interior. Doors sit well and stay securely closed. No key is present.
